End User License Agreement

Effective Date: January 2026

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your access to and use of the Shelfee iPhone app and the Shelfee website (the "Service").

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Shelfee for personal or internal household purposes, subject to this Agreement.

Permitted Use

  • Create and manage inventory items, shopping lists, categories, and locations.
  • Upload photos of your items to improve search and identification.
  • Share links to the Shelfee website with others.

Restrictions

  • Do not copy, modify, or distribute the app, design, or branding without permission.
  • Do not scrape data or attempt to reverse engineer the Service.
  • Do not misuse the Service for unlawful or abusive activities.

User Content

You retain ownership of your inventory data and photos. You grant Shelfee a limited license to host, store, and process that content solely to operate the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, visuals, and trademarks, is owned by Shelfee or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in this Agreement.

Third-Party Services

Shelfee relies on third-party services for authentication, storage, and email delivery. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms.

Updates and Availability

We may update the Service or these terms. Continued use indicates acceptance. We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate this Agreement or if required to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shelfee is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of your primary jurisdiction.
